Gadisar Lake

Gadisar lake was built by king Rawal Jaisal and was reconstructed by King Maharawal Garsi. It was a great source of water for the people of desert area. Also, there are some shrines and temples around the lake.

Kuldhara

Once a prosperous town, Kuldhara is now an abandoned ghost town.  Do you why this village was left abandoned? There is a story popular in this regard. According to the story, a minister wanted to marry village’s chief daughter and warned the village to accept his proposal. The villagers decided to leave the village rather than accepting the wrong pressure of the minister. Moreover, before leaving the place, they cursed the whole village and since then the village has become an abandoned village.
